As 2014 Ends....

Are you guys ready for 2015?! I am. I have some good things happening for me. If all goes well I will be getting my certificate in Deaf Communications. I will also be traveling once again to my favorite place! I'm pretty sure you can guess what... Jamaica!! I freaking love it there!

The year 2014 has also taught me a few things. I learned that no matter how nice you are, how well you take care of your kids or whatever good you do, or how good things are going for you, someone will always have something bad to say about you. No matter what.
I learned to ignore people like this, because they are not happy with themselves. They hate to see you doing good and doing better than them.
I also learned that I really need to work on my forgiveness. I have a lot of things built up in me that I feel I would explode if asked about certain things if I were to come across certain people. I still have room to work on me.
I also plan on getting back into shape. I got a little too happy and lazy and just stopped working out and eating right. It's okay though. I still have plenty of room to work on me.

What are some things you learned in 2014? What did you work on and what did you change?
Happy New Year everyone! Be safe.  See you in 2015!

My First Get Ready With Me

Welcome to my first blog post of the year! It's been a few months. Okay y'all so I finally got the courage to post my first Get Ready With Me or GRWM! After years of filming videos like these and never posting them I am proud of myself. I would always record and delete the video. I always thought I was applying something wrong or someone would comment and say "You need to do this or that". Then I realized that I'm not a makeup artist, everyone has their own method, and that's okay. There is no right or wrong way. I had a lot of fun filming this. Feel free to go and show ya girl some love and support. Until next time!

That Five Year Mark

Five years ago today, I was at work, having a regular day. I see an officer come through and he comes up to me and ask am I Alicia Moore? I thought to myself "Oh crap what did I do? I did nothing wrong?" Then he told me my husband had been in an accident and I needed to come with him. All these thoughts ran through my head as I grabbed my purse and proceeded to tell my boss that I need to leave. Everything happened so fast and I remember my coworkers staring at me as I  gathered my things. I will never forget this day and the events that followed. I dread this month every year. Pray for me this month y'all. Pray for his family and coworkers too.

Slay With Kay Orange Wig Review

I purchased this wig from Trendy Kay a youtuber. I was a little nervous about getting orange hair because I usually keep things pretty simple when it comes to my hair, but thought I needed to change things up a bit. I was very please with shipping because it was super quick. The packing is really neat and cute.  I wore the hair for a week straight and the only issue I have is that there was a lot of shedding. I mean A LOT! I do like the hair though and can't wait to purchase the curly one in black when it's back in stock. Here is the website if you would like to purchase:  http://trendykay.bigcartel.com
